'Tis hard to part from those we love,
'Tis hard to say "Farewell,
'Tis hard to say 'Thy will be done'.
How hard, no tongue can tell.

But Thou wilt take us to our friends,
When earth's long journey's o'er;
In heaven, Thy dwelling place above,
We'll meet to part no more.

I couldn't find a reference for this poem, I did find that it has been used on other Epitaph.

Many of these epitaphs will make me sad, thinking of those that I have lost, or thinking of the pain of those that erected the memorial, but this epitaph bought me to tears, I think particularly because it articulated the feeling of not being able to fully give over to God and say Thy will be done in an personnel tragedy.
